PIY Murals Standard License Agreement

This Standard License Agreement includes usage for personal, educational and nonprofit use. PIY Mural Images may not be used for commercial purposes or by commercial entities. The agreement is between the licensor and the licensee and is non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-assignable. The license does not extend to publishers or manufacturers.


The term “PIY Mural Image[s]” used herein refers to the line drawings and color images created by PIY Murals for the purpose of creating murals.


Use of the PIY Mural Images constitutes an acceptance of this Standard License Agreement.


You may not share, distribute or resell PIY Mural Images. PIY Mural Images are exclusively for the use of creating licensee’s murals. The images may not be used for any other purpose or reproduced in any form, print or digital.


PIY Murals retains all copyright to the mural images. You may not claim the original mural art as your own. You may not copy the mural images to create other designs or to create products.


Upon each purchase of a license it is recommended that you review the license to ensure your desired usage falls in line with the rights and permitted uses listed in this agreement.


If this Standard License Agreement does not include your desired permitted usage, please contact PIY Murals to discuss the possibility of an extended license for your desired use.


You may terminate this agreement by discontinuing past and current use of PIY Mural Images. Failure to comply with the terms of this Standard License Agreement may result in the license being terminated at the sole discretion of PIY Murals.


ALLOWED USE

PIY Mural Images may be used for the creation of licensee’s mural for personal, educational and nonprofit room walls.


Artwork may be altered slightly as to be expected in the hand drawing and painting of the designs. Designs may be changed slightly to allow for the existence of doors, windows or other objects on the walls.


Elements in the mural image may be adjusted as needed to allow for sizing of the mural on to the licensee’s specific wall.


Licensee may add any additional PIY Mural Images as elements to the mural design.


Licensee may use the color comp as a guide for the mural or may paint the mural using any color palette desired.


Licensee may digitally post or print photos of actual mural in progress or completed.


NOT ALLOWED USE

Any commercial use of PIY Mural Images or use of the mural images by a commercial entity.


You may not use PIY Mural Images to directly or indirectly infringe on the intellectual property of another party including without limitation copyright, trademark, service mark or other intellectual property.


The PIY Mural Images may not be used on T-shirts, clothing, stickers, puppets or any other products. 


PIY Mural Images may not be used as coloring pages.


You may not resell, share or distribute PIY Mural Images.


The PIY Mural Images may not be reproduced online in any format.


ADDITIONAL

”Non-transferable" as used herein means that except as specifically provided in this Standard License Agreement, you may not sell, rent, load, give, sublicense, or otherwise transfer to anyone the mural images, the right to modify the mural images or the right to create their own work with the mural images.


PIY Murals reserves the right to update or amend the Standard License Agreement. PIY Murals will post a notice on its website when terms are updated. The licensee agrees to be bound by any update to the terms of this license.


This Agreement shall be construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, which the parties agree shall be the sole and exclusive jurisdiction for any suit or cause of action based upon or arising out of this Agreement. The parties further agree that the venue for any suit or cause of action based upon or arising out of this Agreement shall be Dekalb County, Georgia.


If, after the date hereof, any provision of this License Agreement is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable under present or future law, the remaining provisions of this agreement shall be fully enforceable.
